It's been a while since the last blog post, apologies I've been a bit busy! Back on the 26th of March I made my 4th appearance for England against Germany in Berlin, one of, if not the biggest game of my career so far. It's a night I will not forget and it will live long in the memory for multiple reasons.
First of all Happy New Year to you all and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Football over the years has had it ways of keeping me away from my family but we’ve always managed to make it work. I’ve spent Christmas nights in hotels, hours away from home which is tough, but I can’t complain, playing at christmas is pretty awesome.
Over the last couple of weeks I've been able to catch up with some of my community and commercial appearances.
We all know how incredible the game of football is, whether you are a fan, a coach, a player or a friend of one of those, we all know how emotional it gets. Experiencing the incredible highs of winning games, trophies and leagues, to the lowest of lows when you lose. However we held on through extra time, the lads ran themselves into the ground and got ourselves to the lottery of penalties, which I was extremely excited about.
